Samuel Agana was appointed as Senior ICT Assistant (Networks) at the ICT Directorate, University of Health and Allied Sciences, on 29th November, 2016
He studied Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) at the Catholic University College of Ghana, he graduated in May 2013. He had earlier obtained a Professional Diploma (Systems Engineering) at the Intercom Programming and manufacturing Company (IPMC) coupled with CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer 2003 all from IPMC College of Technology.
He attended a couple of trainings between January 2015 and August 2016 notable amongst them were “Train the Trainer Program” for Instructors of various courses at IPMC. The courses included MS Windows 8, MS Windows Server 2013 Administration and Linux Red Hat Administration.
Prior to his appointment at UHAS, he had been a Branch Administrator and Instructor at the Sunyani Branch of IPMC between December 2014 and August 2016. This position was preceded by a year’s National Service contract with Newmont Gold Ghana Limited (Ahafo Operations), where he worked at the IT Department specifically End-user computing and Telecommunication and Networks Units between September 2013 and July 2014.
