Assistant Professor Emmanuel Clottey of Louisiana State University in the United States donated assorted medical, allied science and public health books to the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS). The gesture is in connection with the collaborative agreement between Louisiana State University and the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS).
The Assistant Professor believes the books will largely support on-going efforts to provide solid foundation for UHAS students in their chosen academic / professional fields.
A total of Two Hundred and Twenty-Four (224) books were donated to the University with special focus on Clinical Cardiac electrophysiology, Clinical Auscultation of the cardiovascular system, Clinical Evidence, Introduction to Public Health, Legal Ethical issues, Public Health Nutrition and Pulmonary Function Testing.
Assistant Professor Clottey promised to convince his colleagues at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, to pick up lecturing / research opportunities.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor John Gyapong, in the company of a section of the Management, received the books on behalf of the University and showed profound gratitude to Assistant Professor Emmanuel Clottey for the kind gesture.
