The inaugural executives of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho (UHAS) were inducted into office in a brief ceremony organized for the purpose.

The inaugural executives are Mr. Desmond Otoo Dzidzornu (President), Mr Romeo Aduko Asumbasiya (Vice President), Ms Akushika Ivy Agbenu (General Secretary), Mr Evame Julius Agbagba (Assistant General Secretary), Miss Beatrice Nuerkie Nuertey (Treasurer). In all, five executives were elected to steer the affairs of the Association for the next three (3) years.

The SRC President, Mr. Pious Afranie in his address called on the Alumni to be good ambassadors of the University, thus paving a smooth path for those who are yet to enter the job market from UHAS.

Dr Sena Kpeglo, the Registrar, on her part, admonished the Alumni, among other things, to use the right channels of communication in addressing their grievances.

The executives were elected in a meeting of all UHAS alumni which preceded the inaugural ceremony.

Present at the meeting were the Registrar (Dr. Sena Kpeglo), the SRC President (Mr. Pious Afranie), the Dean of Students (Dr Daniel Abaye), and the Assistant Registrar of Students Affairs (Mr Wilson Gyamerah).
