Mrs. Dominica Janet Efua Kwaaba Anumu is currently the Assistant Registrar in the Office of International Programmes. Prior to this, she was the Assistant Registrar in the Office of the Vice Chancellor.
EDUCATION
She obtained her first degree, BSc. Agriculture, from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and a Master of Philosophy in Agricultural Administration at the University of Ghana, Legon. She holds an Executive Certificate in Project Management from the Graduate Institute of Management and Administration. She was a beneficiary of the Ghana Strategy Support Program (GSSP-USAID), a research, communication and capacity-strengthening program which aimed at building the capacities of researchers, administrators, policymakers, and members of civil society in Ghana.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Prior to her appointment at UHAS, she worked with Hope for Future Generations, an NGO, as a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer and the Greater Accra Project Coordinator for Behaviour Change Communication Initiative for the Promotion and use of Long Lasting Insecticide Nets for Malaria Prevention and Advocacy for Resources for Malaria (ARMS), UKAID funded Projects respectively. Both projects focused on the Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention of Malaria. She also worked with International Food Policy and Research Institute as an Independent Monitoring Associate on the Ghana Agricultural Production Survey (GAPS) from 2013 to 2014 in Greater Accra, Central, and Eastern regions.
RESEARCH INTEREST
Her research interests include Organizational Management, Higher Education Administration, Strategic Management and Academic Leadership, Project Management, and Management of Internationalisation.
