The Bible Society of Ghana donated a set of twenty four (24) Bibles to the library of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS). Mr. Justice Kugblenu, the officer in charge of the Ho Branch of the Bible Society of Ghana made the donation on behalf of the Bible Society.

Mr. Kugblenu said the objective behind the donation was to offer moral support to both students and members of the University community. He further explained that as a Christian-based institution, the Bible Society believes that Bible is the book of ‘light to our path’, guidance in life and contributes to making godly and divine decisions.

The representative of the Bible Society was hopeful that the relationship between UHAS and the Bible Society will grow and reflect on every aspect of decisions taken in UHAS. The package included four (4) Asante Twi Bibles, four (4) Ewe Bibles, two (2) Fante Bibles, two (2) Dagbani Bibles, two (2) Akuapem Twi Bibles, two (2) Ga Bibles, two (2) Nzema Bible, two (2) Komba Bible, two (2) Esahie Bibles and two (2) Dagaare Bibles.

The Registrar; Dr. Cynthia Sena Kpeglo extended her appreciation to the Bible Society on behalf of the University Management.

Present at the brief ceremony were the University Librarian (Mr. Christian Yaw Kofi), Director of Human Resource (Mr. David Worlanyo Adzovie), Senior Assistant Registrar – General Administration (Mr. Solomon Dzorgbordi Akrong), Assistant Librarian (Miss Hawa Osman) and Assistant Registrar – Registrar’s Office (Miss Lily Adu-Aboagye).
