The executives of Graduate Students' Association of Ghana, University of Health and Allied Science Branch (GRASAG – UHAS) paid a courtesy call on the Senior Management of the University.
In his welcome remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Owusu Gyapong expressed joy in receiving the executives. He acknowledged the important role of the association in the development and social cohesion of the University. He charged the executives to continue to play that crucial role of being the official mouthpiece of graduate students and also always act responsibly by furnishing students with timely and accurate information.
Dr. Cynthia Sena Kpeglo, the Registrar, reiterated the need for an effective collaboration between GRASAG and the Students Representative Council (SRC) in addressing the day-to-day challenges of students.
The secretary of GRASAG-UHAS, Mr. Andrew Musah briefed Management on the association’s activities and plans. He said among other things that the association has gone very far in helping its members to access bursaries. He also used the opportunity to express GRASAG’s appreciation to Management for the support given them so far. He was optimistic that the relationship between Management and the association can only improve.
