The School of Nursing and Midwifery (SONAM) at UHAS, celebrated Vocational Training Day for the first time on November 3, 2023. The new Dean of SONAM, Prof. Peter Adatara, as well as heads of department, VT coordinators, deans and directors present, all addressed the students on the expectations of the programme.

The event also presented a forum for the 2021-2022 Sandwich cohort at various levels to share presentations of their experiences from the field, including lessons learned, challenges and recommendations. Four students received awards for excellent performance on the programme.
