The UHAS Basic School held a graduation ceremony for its second cohort of Kindergarten-2 pupils on December 16, 2022. 17 girls and 14 boys were celebrated by a full house, receiving messages of congratulations from Vice Chancellor Lydia Aziato, Registrar Yaa Amankwaa Opuni, and Director of Works and Physical Development, Arch. Xola Ayittey, who chaired the occasion. Dr. Senanu Kwesi Dzokoto, Volta Regional Director of Health Services, was the Guest of Honour.
Several senior officers of UHAS, along with Regional Minister Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, assisted with handing out awards to 50 pupils and staff, who were also recognized for their hard work and exemplary conduct during the school year.
The ceremony was held jointly with the annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. The occasion featured the UBS Drama Club, School Choir, and Culture & Dance Club, and the K-2 Fashion Show was, without a doubt, the highlight of the Festival.
