University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) has, once more, placed first among Ghanaian universities in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for SDG-3 category (Good health and wellbeing). The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is the second year UHAS has participated in the THE rankings.

In the tables released in June 2023, out of 1218 total global entries considered for the SDG-3 category, UHAS scored in the 73.5-78.9 percentile, placing 137th globally. Two other Ghanaian universities, University of Ghana and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, both scored in the 54.7-63.8 percentile and placed in the 401-600 range for SDG-3.
