Professor John Gyapong, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho (UHAS) has inaugurated a thirteen member Committee to work on improving the University’s ranking in Ghana and beyond. The Vice-Chancellor charged the committee to work towards ensuring that UHAS is among the top 10 universities in Ghana within the next five years.

The Chairperson of the Committee, Professor Margaret Gyapong on behalf of the members of the committee appreciated the opportunity given them to serve the University in this capacity. She assured the Vice-Chancellor that, the committee will work assiduously to achieve its target.

Other members of the Committee are Professor Frank Edwin (School of Medicine) Dr. Robert Kaba Alhassan (School of Nursing and Midwifery). Dr. Kweku Laast (School of Allied Health Sciences), Mr. Kwadwo Amanor-Mfoafo (School of Pharmacy), Mr. Bright Akpalu (School of Public Health), Mr. Nathaniel Glover (School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences), Mr. Christian Kofi (University Librarian), Mr. Emmanuel Obeng-Adjei (Director of ICT), Mr. Thomas Kwegyir- Abaidoo (Director of Internal Audit), Ms. Ruth Xorla Ayittey (Works and Physical Development Directorate), Mr. Baffour Gyem Darkwa (Public Affairs Unit) and Mr. Fidelis Anumu, Secretary (Institute of Health Research).
