Ing. Joseph N. Quarcoo is currently the head of the Engineering Unit of the Works and Physical Development Directorate of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana.
He holds an associate degree in Civil Engineering from the European University of Lefke (Turkish Cyprus), a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi – Ghana. He currently holds a Master of Science Degree in Engineering and Management from the Coventry University in United Kingdom–UK. Ing. J. Quarcoo is a co-operate member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE)
Prior to joining UHAS, Ing. J. Quarcoo was the Regional Engineer in charge of Eastern and Volta Region for the Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL). For the past sixteen (16) years, Ing. J. Quarcoo has worked across the entire 10 regions of the country. He has been active in areas such as Structural Engineering Design, Integrity Analysis of Structures & Project Management.
His research interest is in the field of Sustainable Development and Management.
