User Support

Overview

The Department of User Support under the Directorate of ICT at UHAS ensures the smooth operation of computer and networking systems by providing expert technical support to end-users within the University community. Our key roles include installing/configuring hardware and software systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges (in-person or remote), printing of Identity Cards (ID) for students and staff, ensuring teaching aids at the lecture halls are in optimal state for their intended purpose, managing user accounts, training and educating the entire UHAS community on the technology usage, enforcing ICT security policies functionality and maintaining inventory as well as engaging third-party vendors to resolve critical technical issues.

satisfaction and ensure uninterrupted workflow.

impact in teaching and learning, research and administrative duties.
