Edward Hayford is a Maintenance Officer at the Works and Physical Development Directorate of the University of Health and Allied Sciences in the Volta Region.
He pursued his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering at the Takoradi Polytechnic now Takoradi Technical University. He then pursued Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Construction Technology and Management, and also his Master of Science (MSc) in Project Management at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.
He worked as a District Technician Engineer at the Mpohor Wassa East District Assembly in the Western Region 2001 and later moved to Accra to work in a consultancy firm, Ablin Consult Engineers and Planners Limited as a Civil Engineer in 2003. He moved to the Western Region to work as Project Engineer/ Coordinator with Chirano Gold Mines Limited and J. K. Mont Limited in 2012. In July 2015, he then joined the University of Health and Allied Sciences as the Maintenance Officer in the Works and Physical Development Directorate in charge of Hohoe branch.
He is an engineer by profession, a member of Institutes of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Project Management Institute (PMI).
