The Directorate of Human Resource of the University of Health and Allied Sciences plays a strategic role in supporting the achievement of the University’s vision. The Directorate is responsible for developing and implementing human resource policies, systems and best practices that attract, develop, motivate and retain a competent and dedicated workforce.
The Directorate is strategy-focused and works closely with units across the University to ensure that staff performance and departmental targets are aligned with the broader institutional goals.
The Directorate adopts contemporary human resource practices and leverages modern technology to enhance staff performance, improve employee experience and ensure efficient service delivery across the University. The Directorate provides services in four (4) broad areas, namely: Recruitment, Promotion and Separation (RPS); Performance, Education and Training PET); Compensation and Benefits (C&B/HRIS).
