Vice Chancellor Prof. John O. Gyapong (below left), highly commended members of the choir for their dedication over the period and stressed the relevance of choral music as a recreational tool for bringing people together.
Registrar Dr. Cynthia Sena Kpeglo (above right) urged choir members to continue making UHAS proud through their music, especially during official events of the University. She expressed the pride of Management in their activities so far.”
Speaking on behalf of patrons, Prof. Magaret Gyapong (below right) pledged the commitment of patrons to continue supporting the Choir to ensure that it remains vibrant and attractive to music lovers in order to make them join. She encouraged the members to continue praising God with their voices so that the blessings of God would be their reward.
Mr. Kenneth Tsinyo, Music Director of the University Choir (left), called for more members of the UHAS community to support the group as patrons.
Inaugurated on 12 May 2019, the University Choir now has a total of eighty members, out of which forty are active.
