UHAS Vice Chancellor Professor Lydia Aziato paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa on Friday 26 August. This is the VC’s first official visit to the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) since she assumed office on August 1.

Prof. Aziato expressed appreciation to the Regional Minister and the Volta Regional Coordinating Council for their support to UHAS thus far, and appealed for continued direct support as well as the Minister’s facilitation of linkages with potential partners and donors through his vast network of friends and supporters of the region. The VC also used the occasion to express her profound gratitude to the Municipal and District Chief Executives for their support of UHAS.

On his part, Dr. Letsa assured the VC of VRCC’s continued support for the development of UHAS, and discussed with her, strategies for meeting the urgent needs of the University.
